  7:00 am         Possible tactical

  8:30 am         Officers meeting at the Museum House

  9:00 am         Morning parade

10:00 am         Camps open to public - guided fort tours begin**    

11:15 am         “How Did They Fight?” lecture by Dr. E. Curtis Alexander, Curator, Bells Mill Historical Research and Restoration Society.  Museum House

11:45               Military Rrecruiting and Artillery Demonstrations, battlefield

12:15 pm         Troops form for battle

12:15 pm         Comments by Harrison R. Tyler, owner, Fort Pocahontas followed by

Guest Speaker, Judith Ledbetter, Director of Charles City County Center for Local History,  Spectator Tent

12:45 pm         Battle Commentary by William Potter, staff historian, Vision Forum Ministries Faith and Freedom Tour, Spectator Tent

1:00 pm           Battle Reenactment: The Action at Wilson’s Wharf

2:00 pm           Civil War roundtable discussion will be held between interested individual and reenactors

2:00 pm           Meet General Godfrey Weitzel  at the Museum House, following the battle

3:00 pm           Building the Artillery Platform and Signal Tower, East Bastion

3:30 pm           Afternoon Tea, Civilian Reenactors only, the Museum House

4:00 pm           Camps closed to public

8:30 pm           Signal Tower Demonstration and Artillery Night Fire, battlefield

11:30 pm         Lights out

 

Sunday, May 18
